Legal Issues #2
My opinions changed a little on what media device can and cannot be used. Since some websites may have copyright protected and kids may not know how to find it. To prevent copyright is not violated for the teacher and student if you get something online either put it in your own words or make sure to cite it. I will have a lesson on citing if we need to use sources from the computer. Also I will explain the consequences of if one does copyright someone else's work. For example, there is high-stake testing which requires a lot from a student and makes them turn to cheating. Also there are many misassumptions by students, where students do not realize that it is a problem to be on that website or to take information from it. For teachers when grading assignments there is a website were they can go to see if a student copyrighted from someone else. I can also make my students put stuff in their own words if they cannot cite it themselves. With videos you can get permission or licenses. With teachers they tend to take out stuff from books and copy it but they need to make sure it is not for one time use only. A teacher can provide examples for students with their own work and worksheets. With student work a school should also follow copyright laws. With the web try to use a website that uses students original work. That is what I would do in my class.

Legal Issues #1
The use of electronic text, images and videos in the classroom. They are a very useful tool in teaching. They give an extra meaning to the words one reads or hears. The student has a better understandment of the assignment or lesson. It also makes learning more interesting. Legally a teacher has a limit on what electronic text, image or video they can show. There is also more access to get resources electrically then by books. It is faster to recieve it or look it up on the internet then to find it in a book. In the end everyone benefits since they are getting more ways to learn the work.
